Interactive Intelligence (I² ™) is Visual Purple’s proprietary strategic cognitive research tool. I² ™ tracks a learner’s interaction with an application and determines that learner’s decision making style. I² ™ then adjusts the simulation to “play-the-player” and emphasizes the areas most in need of training attention. Then, I² ™ provides reports and feedback about learner performance to a facilitator, supervisor, or training organization.

I² ™ measures many different aspects of a learner’s decision making style
including the following:

• Predictive Ability: Ability to foresee the repercussions of a decision;
• Quest for Information: How much information
  is required before a decision is made;
• Think Time: How quickly a learner takes decisive action;
• Closure: How quickly a learner moves
  beyond a decision with limited revision; and
• Precision: How accurate and consistent a learner’s decisions are.
